Basketball Hawkes Bay Chair Keith Price has announced current General Manager Chris McIvor will be leaving the organisation in June to take on a new challenge within the human resources and people development sector.
“Chris has been presented with a great opportunity to futher challenge himself in a new sector and link more into his own business.”
“While we are sad to lose him, after 20 years in the sports industry we fully support him in this endeavour to challenge himself in another sector.”
McIvor joined the organisation in 2018 and pays tribute to the ‘people’ of the game.
“It has been a privilege to lead the community game in the Bay. I sincerely thank the board and staff for there hard work and all of the basketball whanau who put there heart and soul into creating opportunities especially for young people.”

Whether she’s new to hoops or returning for another term, we can’t wait to see her back on the court, reaching new goals and creating more memories
