KiwiHoops Coaches Courses
KiwiHoops Coaching Courses are Basketball New Zealand courses delivered in the Hawke's Bay by one of our regions BBNZ Regional Coach Developers, Nick Fee. These courses are free of charge.
This course provides people witha systematic, consistent and safe approach to the development of basketball players; and uses basketball activities and games to provide fun and enjoyable learning experiences.
This course is aimed at coaches, teachers, parents, volunteers, people new to the game, or people who want to improve their knowledge.
There are two courses coming up:
(1) Aim to coach ages 5-13 (Years 1-8)
Weds April 3rd, 5.30-7.00pm, Karamu School Gym
(2) Aim to coach ages 12-19 (Years 9-13)
Sun April 14th, 5.00-6.30pm, Pettigrew Green Arena

Term 2 of Her Time Hoops is just around the corner, and we couldn’t be more excited!
A huge thank you to all our families for making Term 1 such a positive, inspiring experience. Watching the girls grow in confidence, teamwork, and love for the game has been amazing! Every high-five, laugh, and breakthrough moment reminded us why we do this
.Now it’s time to get ready for Term 2! Registrations are open! and we’re working on dates and times that will give every girl the chance to keep developing her skills, friendships, and resilience. Whether she’s new to hoops or returning for another term, we can’t wait to see her back on the court, reaching new goals and creating more memories
