Clifiton Bush Jr

I’m an American-born Kiwi with 30 years of Coaching experience with players between the ages of 5 years old to adults.  I’m a former NBL (Hawks, Rams, Jets, Waikato & NZ Breakers) player and previous Coach for Under 13, 15, 17, 19 & Under 23 Hawkes’ Bay representative men’s teams and Under 17 Hawkes’ Bay representative & Napier Girls High School Women’s teams.  I am also a former Hawks Asst. Coach and former BBHB Regional Development Coach.  Over a span of 15 years I played as a professional basketball player in New Zealand , Australia, Iceland, Bolivia and Argentina.  Some of my career highlights are: New Zealand NBL Champion & MVP, NZ All-Star five, NBL Leader scorer, NBL most outstanding forward, NBL second best rebounder in 2001 = 11.6 per game.  On over 50 occasions scored 40 points or more in a game. Inducted into my high school, Watson Chapel High, hall of fame & Hall of fame inductee at the University of Central Arkansas, USA.  

I have coached at both the Men’s and Women’s professional levels in New Zealand and abroad. The C.A.N.I. (Constant and Never-ending Improvement) basketball trainings are designed to improve all aged players’ fundamental basketball skills, i.e. shooting, dribbling, passing etc., by using a combined approach of Kiwi / American style of teachings.  Unlike many other trainings that you may have or that you are attending now, if you want to see your skills improve at a higher rate and in the most positive atmosphere, then these trainings are for you.  Stay G.R.E.A.T. CANI Trials 2022

TIMES:

• Senior group - age 13 & up: 1-2pm.
• Junior group - age 8-13 years old: 2-3pm.

VENUE: William Colenso College, 21 Arnold Street, Onekawa, Napier

Tuesdays & Thursdays mornings

Senior group: age 13 & up - 5:30am to 6:30am. 

Junior group: age 8-13 years old - 6:30am to 7:30am.

2022 TERM DATES

Term 1: Start – 08-2-22 & 10-2-22 to end date: 17-3-22 (6 weeks).

Term 2: Start – 10-5-22 & 12-5-22 to end date: 16-6-22 (6 weeks).

Term 3: Start – 02-8-22 & 04-8-22 to end date: 08-9-22 (6 weeks).

Term 4: Start – 25-10-22 & 27-10-22 to end date: 1-12-22 (6 weeks).
